The United States (US) Youth and Women Wing, in collaboration with the Virginia Branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), will host a fundraising event in Washington on September 7, 2024, to support the campaign of NDC flag bearer John Dramani Mahama ahead of the December 7, 2024, general elections.
The event, which will be held at the Washington Dulles Marriott Suites, will also include a conference bringing together NDC National Executives and members from various states in the USA. The discussions will cover issues related to the NDC’s activities in the US and other significant matters.
Expected attendees include former First Lady Mrs. Lordina Mahama, National Chairman Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, General Secretary Hon. Fiifi Kwetey, and National Youth Organizer Mr. George Opare Addo. Also in attendance will be National Women Organizer Dr. Hanna Louisa Bisiw, Deputy National Women Organizer Abigail Elorm Mensah, Director of Inter-Party Relations Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor, and Yusif Yunusah, a member of the NDC’s FEC Special Operations Committee, among others.
In addition to the fundraising, the event will feature the inauguration of the Youth and Teen Working Committee, as well as initiatives for membership drives and women’s empowerment within the party.
