Mahama to provide recreational centres in Zongos for social events

It is in the light of these aforementioned important benefits that former President John Mahama has promised to work with district assemblies to provide recreational centres in Zongos for social events if he is elected as the next president of Ghana.

Speaking at a campaign event in a Zongo community, Mahama emphasised the importance of providing recreational facilities for the youth in these communities to engage in positive social activities and stay away from negative influences.

He pledged to collaborate with local authorities to identify suitable locations for the construction of recreational centres and ensure that they are equipped with the necessary facilities for sports, cultural events, and other social activities.

Mahama also highlighted the need to invest in the development of Zongo communities to improve the living standards of residents and create opportunities for youth empowerment.

If elected, Mahama's administration would prioritise the welfare and development of Zongo communities, with a focus on providing essential amenities and infrastructure to enhance the quality of life for residents.
