'You’re not dealing with weak, hungry people you can bully; be very careful' — Family of accident victims warn Lil Win

The family of the three-year-old child who tragically lost his life in an accident involving popular actor Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as LilWin, has issued a warning, making it clear that they will not be intimidated in their pursuit of justice.

In an interview, a family member emphasized that they should not be underestimated, noting that the deceased child came from a well-to-do family.

They are determined to ensure that justice is served.

“He [Lilwin] thinks he is dealing with a bunch of poor people… we have taken this matter very seriously.

“Some utterances by his PRO (Public Relations Officer) led a presenter to caution me against being paid off, and I told him that everyone who knows our family in Kumasi knows that we are not destitute or hungry people.

“If you look at the Nyarko Towers where we live, that is just a small place we have rented in town; we travel home on weekends,” said an uncle of the deceased.

“So if they think they are dealing with some weak people that they can bully, they should be careful,” he added.

LilWin was granted GH¢50,000 bail with two sureties by the Asokore Mampong District Court in Kumasi on Monday, June 3, 2024, following an earlier arrest.

The accident occurred when LilWin, reportedly driving at high speed, collided with the vehicle carrying little Nana Yaw and his father, Jacob Kofi Ampomah.

Both Nana Yaw and his father were promptly taken to a nearby hospital and subsequently transferred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where the boy died.
