Market women and traders at the Bogoso market in the Prestea Huni-valley constituency have affirmed their support for the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Hon. Barbara Oteng-Gyasi, in her bid to retain the parliamentary seat in the December polls.

According to the traders, the remarkable interventions and policies of President Akufo-Addo and Hon. Barbara Oteng-Gyasi, such as the free senior high school and Obaapa Micro Loan Scheme which falls under the MP's foundation ‘Wassa Hemaa’ which is tailored at empowering women within the constituency by extending small loans and other basic financial assistance to women that do not have access to capital are commendable.

The elated traders halted their activities and began shouting the four more for Nana mantra upon the arrival of the MP and her entourage at the market on Tuesday, November 17.
They were seen appealing to their colleagues to give President Akufo-Addo and the MP four more years to continue with their developmental agenda.

As usual of her, the legislator had a one-on-one interaction with the traders and distributed branded NPP aprons and umbrella hats.
She also inspected ongoing construction of pavement and replacement of damage sheds at the central market where she was provided with first hand information on the progress of work.

The MP was hopeful the installation of the interlocking concrete paver blocks at the market will improve the sanitation situation and enhance trade activities upon completion.
