“Jesus replied: “Verily, verily, (meaning: Truly, truly) I tell you, no one can see the Kingdom of God unless they are born again”--- (John 3:3).

We shall be brutally frank! You may call us names; but this is an inconvenient existential truth, a great burden placed on us by the Holy Spirit. We must say it loud and clear. As Apostle Paul told the Pharisees and Sadducees of his day; “…Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God’s sight to listen to you rather than God” (Acts 4:19). The truth that saves us as children of Adam and Eve is the truth we do not want to hear. I hear the glib talk of ignorant souls and more painfully among those who style themselves Christian that no one knows who will enter heaven. You hear this flip all the time: “No one knows who will enter heaven and make it to the kingdom of God, except God Himself.” One could dismiss such japery assertion from unbelievers who are going to hell anyway, unless they confess their sins and give their life to the Lord Jesus Christ; but what do you say about a supposed Christian who says; no one is sure of making it to heaven. Yet, the Holy Bible is unambiguous about this matter of eternity and warned us thus: “Therefore, my brother and sister make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble” (2 Peter 1:10). The New Living Translation is even more categorical when it renders that verse unambiguously clearer: “So, dear brothers and sister, work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen. Do these things, and you will never fall away” (2 Peter 1:10).

It is not when you’re dead that you will know your eternal destination: heaven or hell. It is right here on earth before you die that you must settle this matter of eternal destination; hence, the admonition by Apostle Peter to all human beings to make sure this matter of eternal destination is settled once and for all right here on earth now. I have said it elsewhere in this column legionary instances that entering paradise and heaven will not be a somnambulistic voyage. No one can and will ever be able to stumble into heaven, period. There are two distinct, mutually exclusive and diametrically-opposed worlds that confront every human soul that has ever walked and will ever pass through this earth in the Journey of Life. One is heaven which God Incarnate Himself, Who is Jesus Christ called the Kingdom of God in His discourse with Nicodemus in John Epistle quoted above. The second is called Hell which is the kingdom of Satan and his fallen angels. Heaven is up after the sky, Hell is underneath after the ocean. One is bliss and the other is gloom. One is bright and light and the other is utter darkness and stench and there is no median lane in between these two opposite worlds/domains. The two regions and abodes are billions of distance from each other. The earth which you and I are living now is the dividing line where we shall individually use our moral free will to make a choice which of these two domains; Heaven or Hell we shall spend eternity. Our current earthly interstice on rejecting or accepting the Saving Grace of our Lord, Master and Savior Jesus Christ is the sole determinant of our individual eternal destination. It is a decision no one can make for you. It is a far-reaching and life-defining decision you and I must make and it cannot and can never be wished away. It is ether you are going to heaven or heading toward hell, period!

Can we know individually, if one is going to heaven or hell right now? Absolutely! Our Lord Jesus Christ gave us the qualification that confers anyone, including this writer to a heaven candidate. Hear Him again; “Jesus replied: “Verily, verily, (meaning; Truly, truly) I tell you, no one can see the Kingdom of God unless they are born again”--- (John 3:3). Anywhere you read in the Holy Bible where the King of kings used those words: “Truly, truly,” He indirectly was telling the human race there is no chance or room to spin His Words. In other words, there is no wiggle room or cause for debate. For as Psalm 119:89 aptly declared: “Forever, O! Lord, Your word is settled in heaven.” The Almighty God doesn’t ask for your opinion or mine on His Words. In the matter of eternity and where each of us shall spend our eternity, the Sovereign Lord God Almighty is not debating it with the human race. He had declared it straitlaced and not opened to debate thus: “ Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit (referring to the Holy Spirit) gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” (John 3:5-8). Do you read those adumbrations to John 3:3 once more? In other not to leave us in the dark as to who will make it to heaven, our Lord Jesus Christ gave further elaborations on the qualifications to make it to heaven this way: For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God” (John 3:16-21). If these words are false and made up, that will be the greatest lie ever told to the human race. But, if those words are indeed truly the immutable words of the Sovereign Lord God Almighty the Creator; words that define the eternal destination of every human soul on earth; then it is a matter of choice: believe or disbelieve, period!

We now apply these scriptures to all the religions of the world and by mere sensible deductions and logical extrapolations; we can easily know those that will go to heaven and those on the road to hell. This is not complicated at all and it requires no emotional exertions. You don’t even need a college degree to arrive at sensible conclusions in this exercise. Take the estimated 535 million adherents of Buddhism in the world; they are eternally lost, because they’re not born-again. Add that figure to the estimated 1.2 billion practitioners of Hinduism in the world and they too are heading to hell, because they are not born-again. These two religions represent 21 percent of the total population of the human race. Now the mother lode; Islam boasts of 1.8 billion adherents known as Muslims and they too that worship Allah who is a demon-god are all heading to hell, without exception. They are not born-again Christian and going by what the Lord Jesus Christ said in those verses quoted in John 3 above, all Muslims without exception are heading to hell fire, period! The Muslims represent roughly 24% population of the world making a total of 45% of the world population.

Now let’s go on to the Satanic Roman Catholic Church which has 1.2 billion faithful ignorantly worshipping Lucifer on earth. This accounts for 16% of world population making a total of 61% overall. Catholic faithful are religious and some refer to themselves as Charismatic, but our Lord Jesus Christ didn’t say you should be charismatically-religious, but must be born-again; so, applying that sole rubric, all Catholic faithful and worshippers of the Virgin Mary are heading to hell fire as well. Now add the 200 million human beings on earth who referred to themselves as self-identified and self-confessed atheists and non-believers in the Sovereign Lord God Almighty the Creator. Throw in the mix are the agnostics who say they doubt the existence of my Lord, Master and Savior Jesus Christ. The two groups represent 7% population of the world which brings the total heading to hell to roughly 70%. Now you’re wondering how Satan is able to control 70% of the world population. But wait until we examine the rest frightening statistics. There are 10 million pagans and animists in the world. There are Voodoo worshippers; Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons make up 2% of world population which bring the total so far to 72%. By the time you add adherents of Shintoism, Bahai, Sikhism, Judaism, and White Garment Churches and certified Satanists, you have estimated total of 85% population of the world in the hands of Satan and his fallen angels. No wonder the Holy Bible refers to Satan as the “god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4: “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” But wait a minute; do you add the hypocrites in our today’s Churches; the embedded servants of Satan and demons, the witches and wizards, the purveyors of prosperity and workers of miracles empowered by Satan and his fallen angels and these groups of people identified in Revelation 21:8 thus: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death” (KJV).

From the above statistics, you can sensibly deduce that not more than 15% population of the world will make it to heaven. If Our Lord, Master and Savior Jesus Christ said it plainly: “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6), then it is conveniently possible and easy to know those that are heading to heaven and those that are going to hell. This is not complicated at all. You may not like this. You may stop reading this article. You may abuse me, but from what our Lord Jesus Christ said as contained in the Word of Life, the Holy Bible; it is either Jesus Christ told a lie or mere gibberish or His Words are true. These words cannot be both true and false. If Jesus Christ is the Only Way, Truth and Life and No one can come to God the Father except through Him as He said, then all other ways; Islam, Buddhism, Roman Catholic etc are missed ways and by simple logical deductions, all the adherents of such faith and beliefs are heading to hell, period! In this matter of eternity, our Lord Jesus Christ did not leave any wiggle room or possibility of spinning His words. The question you should ask yourself right now is this: Am I heading to heaven or hell? Am I a born-again Christian, truly-regenerated and washed clean by the Blood of Jesus Christ shed on the Cross of Calvary for my sins? Do I have the Holy Spirit as proof of my eternal destination? You must answer these questions right here on earth now and not when you die and transit to the Other Side. It is only here on earth that you have a free will. As soon as you die and move to the Other Side, you do not control events any more. The rules will change. Your free moral choice ends. The choice is yours now!

But should you be surprised that Satan controls nearly 90% population of the world and they are all going to hell with the devil and his fallen angels? How could just 8 souls- Noah, his wife, his three children and their wives- be saved during Noah’s Day on earth? Is it not mindboggling that only three souls-Lot and his two daughters- made it alive out of the Twin Cities of Sodom and Gomorrah when the Almighty God destroyed the cities for their wickedness and disobedience? Aren’t you taken aback that Satan succeeded in controlling 10 out of 12 spies sent to survey the Promised Land and the 10 majority eventually died and only the minority two belonged to the True Lord God Almighty? Are you perturbed that only two souls-Caleb and Joshua-made it to the Promised Land out of a population of 2 million human beings delivered by the Lord God Almighty from Egypt? Even the spiritual giant; Moses didn’t make it to the Promised Land. Hear the causality between these events and our days as disclosed by our Lord Jesus Christ: “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days of Noah before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man” (Matthew 23:37-39; See also Luke 17:26). Are you basking in the false euphoria that you belong to the majority faithful of a religion and think you’re heading to heaven? You are sorely mistaken my friend! So I ask you again: are you heading to heaven or hell? It is not the Lord God Almighty that will answer that existential question but you, right now and now on this earth. The choice is yours!
