“Curses don’t work anymore; they are waste of time, money and energy” — Mzbel

Ghanaian musician Mzbel has opened up about her past experience with curses, revealing that she travelled several times to the Northern Region and even to Benin in an attempt to curse someone over a money-related dispute.

Speaking on United Showbiz, Mzbel said she was once determined to deal with the individual involved in the dispute and sought spiritual intervention from different places.

According to her, she made several trips to the Northern Region as part of the process and later travelled to Benin, hoping the curse would have an effect on the person she was targeting.

However, years after going through all those efforts, Mzbel said the individual remains alive and healthy, despite the various curses she claims to have placed on them.

Reflecting on the experience, Mzbel said it has completely changed her perception of curses. She argued that the practice is no longer effective and only leads people to waste valuable resources.

“Curses don’t work anymore; they are a waste of time, money and energy,” Mzbel said.
