Ghanaian musician and rapper Kwame Yogot has claimed that there was an attempt on his life by some commercial motor riders, popularly known as “Okada” riders.
The incident, according to him, occurred in the early hours of Thursday, June 4.
He says he narrowly escaped the attack and believes his life is still under threat following the encounter.
In a social media post, the ‘I’m Feeling Okay’ hitmaker appealed for prayers and support from fans as he processes the incident.
“Today, I came very close to losing my life. Some Okada riders attempted to take my life for no reason, but by the grace of God, I survived,” he wrote.
He further expressed fear over his safety, noting that the experience has left him shaken.
“My life is in danger,” the singer said..
“God delivered me from the hands of evil and gave me another chance to live. For that, I am deeply grateful,” he added.
He called on the public to keep him in their prayers as he continues to deal with the situation, saying the experience has been emotionally distressing.
