A young man has been left heartbroken and confused after unexpectedly running into his girlfriend at a popular Kata Restaurant in Lapaz, Accra, in the company of her ex-husband, after she had earlier told him she would be busy at home.
According to the man, he had no suspicion of foul play and genuinely believed his girlfriend was occupied with personal matters at home. Later in the day, hunger led him to stop by the restaurant to grab a quick meal, a decision that would soon expose what he describes as a painful betrayal.
To his shock, he walked into the eatery only to see his girlfriend seated comfortably with her former husband. Witnesses at the restaurant say the two appeared relaxed and deeply engaged in conversation, suggesting the meeting was far from coincidental.
The man reportedly stood frozen for a moment, trying to process the scene before approaching their table to confirm what he was seeing was real. An argument is said to have followed, drawing the attention of other customers at the restaurant.
