Nigerian politician Senator Ned Nwoko has dismissed claims that he intends to marry actress Chika Ike.
Describing the rumors circulating on blogs and social media as baseless distractions, he urged the public to disregard them.
In a statement, Nwoko firmly denied any plans to take Chika Ike as his seventh wife or that she is expecting his child, as some reports have alleged.
He also refuted claims that he had made any comments regarding 2Face’s personal issues or polygamy.
