
Songstress Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda popularly known as Mzvee is continuing her winning ways as she bagged an award at the 22nd edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA) Awards.
The 'You Alone' singer's 2020 music video for the song 'Baddest Boss' featuring one-half of R2Bees, Mugeez was adjudged the best music video at the first lap of this year's award show.
This is the singer's first award after her controversial exit from former record label Lynx Entertainment.
She is also the first ex-Lynx musician to win a VGMA.
MzVee beat stiff competition from colleagues Adina, Amaarae, Diana Hamilton, Joey B, Kuami Eugene, Kweku Smoke, Mr Drew, Okyeame Kwame, and Pappy Kojo
Queen Vee grabbed three nominations at this year's awards including Best Reggae Dancehall Song of the Year,” “Best Music Video of the Year,” and “Album of the Year.”
