
The House Party Show is a special inter-community beauty contest interspaced with interludes of a variety of arts, including traditional Ga Folk live band music, set to take place at Alliance Francaise Accra on Wednesday 26th August 2015 at 7:30pm.
The two-hour show is made up of an exceptional four-round challenge among five beautiful and intelligent ladies representing their various communities within Accra. The contestants will be tested for their talents, eloquence, and level of environmental awareness and sensitivity. Inspired by the current environmental challenges of Ghana and the need for young people to look beyond their clothing and beauty to play active roles in making the society a better place to live, the entire show seeks to raise environmental icons within our communities to promote proper sanitation and healthy lifestyles whiles entertaining.
Dzadzeloi, a famous traditional band that plays Ga folk songs will delight the audience with great tunes from the Ga community. The month of August coincides with the Ga-Adangbe Homowa festival, hence the choice of traditional Ga folk music for the event. The audience will also enjoy exclusive music performance from talented artist and actor, Great Aluta.
The show will have three proficient judges deciding on which of our distinguished ladies wears the crown as the ‘Queen of the night’. The first Judge is an environmentalist and healthy lifestyle advocate, Edwin Nana Baffour CEO of Drum & Gong Ltd, (an Event, Talent and Destination management services company), Former Guinness Ghana Breweries Ltd Head of Corporate Relations , Communications Director of Food Sovereignty Ghana and Public Relations Officer of the Vegetarian Association of Ghana. Actress and 2014 Western Region Representative of TV3’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful, Nana Agyeiwah, is the second Judge. The third judge is Vincent E. McCauley Jnr, a renowned actor, admissions Director of Soul Clinic International School and former Television Presenter of TV3 Ghana & Metro TV.
The show is Presented and directed by Zimran Randolph Clottey (aka Great Aluta), a renowed Actor, TV Broadcaster (formerly with Ghana Television and TV3-Ghana), Musician, Writer, Film-Director, Media & Performing Arts Lecturer. He is also the C.E.O of Pacesetters Entertainments, a Showbiz consultancy.
The audience should expect a keen contest from five beautiful young ladies with different stature depicting the true African woman, thrilling them with a variety of arts and talents till the end of the show.
The House Party Show is part of La Paillote Tapkepke, a monthly entertainment program organised by Alliance Francaise to support local art initiatives
