
Kumasi-based gospel songstress Philipa Baafi attended St Monica's Secondary at Asante Mampong on government scholarship after which she trained as a beautician and practised for a while before deciding on a music career.
Yesu Ye Me Last Stop happens to be her third album with the preceding ones being Mogya No Akasa and Okyeso Nyame. She i currently working on her fourth album.
Philipa Baafi also runs a beauty clinic in Kumasi called Philibells Health and Beauty Clinic with which she represents a German company called Weyergan Health and Beauty Clinic.
Philipa has been on a three-month long trip to six European countries. According to the musician, she toured Italy, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany and Austria. “I held a concert in Italy, performed at a live show in Amsterdam as well as ministered in some countries.”
