Alex Biney, Ghana's representative in the Big Brother Africa (Amplified) reality show in 2011 is optimistic that Ghana's finalist in this will emerge winner.
Ghana's remaining Big Brother Africa (Hotshots) representative, Beatrice Maame Adwoa Boabeng Oppong known as M'am Bea is up against seven other housemates for the grand prize of $300,000.
M'am Bea will hope to garner more votes than Butterphly, Idris, JJ, Macky2, Nhlanhla Sipe, and Tayo to win this season's 63-day show and make history as the first Ghanaian to win the show.
The 25-year-old Ghanaian fashion designer is the second Ghanaian to make it to Africa's most watched reality show finale after Elikem Kumordzie, who emerged third in last year's Big Brother Africa (The Chase).
Speaking in an interview with Myjoyonline.com, Alex Biney was confident that M'am Bea “will win! They will give us the win to appease us; not because we deserve it or that we outperformed the other countries.”
According to him, “M'am Bea has also been a model candidate also, respectful polite, no conflicts. She is also attractive, sounds South African when speaking English but can speak Twi and other Ghanaian languages so she can be marketed to both countries.”
Nicknamed 'Bomaye', Alex believes that Nigeria's Tayo is a major threat to the Ghanaian representative but said he will be compensated by the organizers in another way.
“I feel like Tayo is used to bring in the votes and viewers but will be rewarded in another way,” he said.
Alex was evicted from the Big Brother Africa (Amplified) show after 70 days in the Big Brother house.
