Several years after doing mainstream music, and putting out chart-topping hits, musician, Okyeame Kwame, still has butterflies in his tummy anytime he is nearing the release of a new song.
This week, he's been telling his social media fan base just how tensed he is ahead of the release of a new single 'It's Your Time' on Friday.
As if to prepare their minds for an eventual full blown anthem, he's had to continuously tell them about how he can't really fathom why it is so even after years of doing professional music.
A thorough act with numerous awards to his credit, he burst onto the scene in 1997, and became part of what would later become one of hiplife's most revered group, Akyeame.
Both acts has since gone their separate ways, with Kwame having a major career boost that has seen him become a favourable face for endorsements.
He has also grown into the top echelons of Ghana's music industry, and is currently one of five people asked to sit in until fresh elections are held for the struggling music rights protection body, Ghana Music Right Organization (GHAMRO).
