It is either Silverbird Cinema Ghana needs a bigger complex to host major movie premieres or handlers of the movie entertainment center were taken by surprise on Christmas Day December 25 during the premiere of 'One Night In Vegas'.

The Cinemas had one of its biggest turnouts, as movie enthusiasts came out in their numbers to watch 'One Night In Vegas' and other movies screening at the cinemas.

The forecourt of the cinemas was overcrowded and movement was almost impossible, while some revelers had to also stand several minutes before they finally got the opportunity to enter the main auditorium.

According to signals picked from the event, organizers underestimated the event's turnout from the beginning and only allocated a few halls for the grand premiere event.

Top stars Yvonne Nelson, Lydia Forson, Van Vicker, Chase Bossman, Prince David, Juliet Ibrahim, Kesse, and Kwesi P among others, who attended the ceremony, were faced with the daunting task of struggling with their fans for space and photo opportunities despite security measures.  

There had been large turnouts at the Silverbird Cinemas for movie premieres, but Wednesday's was extreme.

'One Night In Vegas' which stars Haitian American actor Jimmy Jean Louis, Yvonne Nelson and John Dumelo among others, wrapped up months ago, with an estimated budget of $150, 000.

It is a movie about relationship, friendship and betrayal.

It tells the story of James Foster (John Dumelo), a 30-year-old man who is at the crossroads of his marriage. Coming out on top after a high profile case with a gang of thugs, James has been sober for 18 months. He then decides to take a trip to Vegas with his wife Genie (Yvonne Nelson) in order to rekindle their relationship. But a lot happens with the inclusion of their bodyguard (Jimmy Jean Louis) on the trip to Vegas.
