“Queen Lateefah” is a story about two people with different socio-economic backgrounds played by Yvonne Okoro, princess of the land, and John Dumelo, a low class ambitious historian. The princess, soon to be a queen, finds all that she needs in a man in this low-class gentleman and devises a technique to make her people feel the same way about him.
