1014 Laughs And Music Soon

HAPPY days are here again as MTN and Charterhouse present the ever popular 'Night of 1000 Laughs and Music' series to be held in August in Accra.

The comedy series has developed an expectant cult following it over the years and would be celebrating its 14 th edition on August 4 th .

Audience numbers seemed to increase with every show to the point where organizers were compelled to host it at the Conference Centre, the Dome, the biggest indoor event venue in Ghana.

Only one reason has accounted for the success of the 'Laughs' series—patrons received their money's worth in the good quality and wholesome entertainment that each show presented.

It is at this show that patrons, usually Ghanaian professionals, could let their hair all the way down and laugh.

Patrons are sure to enjoy some hearty laughs at the jokes presented by some of Africa's best stand-up comedians and some of the best quality musical acts.

The absolutely irresistible total package presented by the Laughs and Music series will live on for a while longer.

Charterhouse, on its part, has ensured an exciting show of award winning comedians to deliver on their promise, show after show.

At a fairly reasonable rate of GH¢60 for standard tickets and GH¢120 for VIP tickets, patrons would enjoy some well deserved respite from the hustle of life.

Over the past six years, the comedy series has seen ace comedians like Julius Agwu, Godons, Abeiku Santana, Yaw Sakyi, Klint da Drunk, Mandy, Funny Face, AY, Shayi Law, Basket Mouth, A Plus, Lepacious Bose, Owen G and many more.

It had also featured some of the very best musicians on the bill to ensure the total package was worth every cedi.

According to the organizers, although they have not closed the list of comedians scheduled to appear on stage, they can confirm the August 4 th event would feature the hilarious, Okey Bakassi with the likes of Bovi, I go Save, Akpos, Hogan and Funny Face.

The music segment of the show would be ably taken care of by Amandzeba, Bertha, Wutah Afriyie among others. With these high profile performers set for the show, one cannot help but anticipate the 'Night of a 1014 Laugh's and Music'.

Hopefully, organizers deliver on their promise with their track record as backing.
