Ahead of the finals of the Miss World Beauty Pageant tomorrow, Ghana's rep Miss Ghana 2009, Mimi Areme has just placed second in the “beauty with a purpose segment” for her project of freeing child slaves in Ghana.
Kenya's Natasha Metto who collaborated with Miss Kenya 2005 to educate and treat the jigger worm epidemic in Kenya won that segment, whiles third place went to El Salvador's Gabriela Molina for her work building a home in rural village in her country.
