Dr James Abugre: MMDCEs Who Complete Stalled Projects Deserve Commendation

Policy development expert and lecturer at the Department of Law and Public Policy at Ashesi University, Dr James Atambilla Abugre, has described the Akuapem South Municipal Assembly's approach to completing inherited development projects as a commendable example of responsible governance.

Dr Abugre says completing stalled projects protects Ghana's scarce financial resources, strengthens public confidence in governance and promotes accountability.

He has also called for public commendation for Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives who complete inherited projects, urging MMDAs across the country to adopt similar practices.

According to him, development belongs to the people and should not be subjected to political considerations.
