Ghana international, Kevin-Prince Boateng has expressed his delight after joining FC Barcelona.
The 31-year-old completed his move to the La Liga side on Monday from US Sassuolo.
The Catalans have paid €2m as a loan fee for Boateng and have a purchase option for €8m if they want to keep him after the summer.
“I’m very happy, it’s a big honour for me to be here and to have the possibility to play for this great club," he said.
"For every kid who starts playing football, they dream of playing for a club like Barcelona. So for every football player and especially for me, it’s a big dream come true.
“I will just try and give everything for this club. I think everyone knows the way I play and knows my strengths.
"I don’t want to talk about my strengths I just want to try and help the club.”
Kevin-Prince Boateng becomes the first Ghanaian in the history of Barcelona and the 14th African to wear their shirt.
Barcelona has handed the Ghanaian no.19 jersey.
