The president of Tema Youth Football Club, Wilfred Osei Kwaku has donated items to the Asante Kotoko playing body at the Sports Hotel in Kumasi.
The items are ten boxes of Paradise Pac mineral water and ten boxes of assorted soft drinks.
The donation was made on behalf of Osei Kweku Palmer by the Chief Executive Officer of Techiman Eleven Wonders, Takyi Arhin.
According to him, they are to help Asante Kotoko beat Ashgold when the two sides clash in the J. A Kufuor cup at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
"Asante Kotoko are on a good course and he feels its good that he supports them", says Takyi Arhin on behalf of Osei Palmer.
"We came on behalf of Osei Palmer, who wishes to vie for the GFA presidency when the contest opens. He said we should bring you these items so you can get the energy to beat Ashgold on Sunday."
"We also came to support the former president in this special initiative. Thanks to him and his government, all of us had the opportunity of seeing Ghana play in the World Cup for the first time."
"He, therefore, cannot help but contribute to make the anniversary match a success."
Kwame Bonsu spoke on behalf of the players and thanked Osei Kwaku for the gesture and Takyi Arhin for ensuring that they got to them safely.
Kwame Bonsu also told Takyi Arhin to inform Osei Kwaku to expect a win from the team on Sunday.
