Black Stars new boy William Owusu continued with his fine form in Belgium by snatching the winner for Royal Antwerp in their 1-0 win over Cercle Brugge on Saturday.
The Ghanaian forward scored the only goal of the game in the 48th minute after a fine period of football by the home side.
Royal Antwerp played 75 minutes of the game with a man down after Omar Govea was red carded in the 16th minute.
Owusu's compatriot Daniel Opare lasted the entire duration of the game.
The striker despite scoring the only goal was cautioned by the referee in the 80th minute.
William Owusu was named in Coach Kwesi Appiah's squad for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya next month.
Owusu could be making his debut against the Harambee Stars of Kenya on September 8th. He is the only new face in the squad released by Kwesi Appiah on Wednesday.
