The national U17 male team of Ghana recorded their first victory in their pre-tournament games ahead of the FIFA U17 World Cup in India.

Ghana whitewashed United Arab Emirates 4-0 at the Theyab Awana Sports Stadium in Dubai on Saturday.

The Black Starlets grabbed the lead in the 7th minute through Gideon Mensah.

Coach Paa Kwasi Fabin's continued mounting pressure on the Middle East nation as Saqid Ibrahim made it 3-0 before Idriss Mohammed sealing their victory with another stunning strike in the dying embers of the game.

The West African country suffered a defeat in their first friendly game against Mali.
