Ghana recorded a time of 43.37s to place last as Jamaica, Great Britain and Ukraine qualified from the group.
Flings Owusu-Agyapong, Gemma Acheampong, Beatrice Gyaman and Janet Amponsah represented Ghana as a team in Rio for the heat race in the 4x100 .
