Accra, July 12, GNA - Head Coach of the Senior Women's team Yussif Basigi has named a strong squad for camping to start preparation ahead of the International friendly against Germany on July 22.
The 24 invited players will start training on Tuesday at the Ghanaman Soccer of Excellence in Prampram, with the absence of foreign based players Samira Suleman and Linda Eshun.
The Germany Women's team are preparing for the Rio Olympic Games and will use Ghana as a test to begin their campaign at the quadrennial competition.
The full squad is as follows. Goalkeepers - Patricia Mantey and Nana Ama. Defenders - Hillia Kobblah, Edem Atorvo, Cynthia Adobea, Regina Antwi, Rosemary Ampem and Belinda Anane,
The Midfielders are- Mercy Myles (C), Alice Kusi, Rita Darko, Alberta Asante, Priscilla Otchere, Rahama Alhassan, Elizabeth Addo, Grace Asare, Mary Essilful, Priscilla Saahene, Wasila De- Wuara Soala and Rebecca Asante
The Strikers are Sandra Owusu- Ansah, Veronica Appiah, Priscilla Adobea and Faiza Ibrahim
