National Under-19 team to take on the senior in a special friendly

Accra, Jan. 28, GNA - The National Under 19 Cricket Team will this weekend come face to face with the senior national cricket team.

The training match is aimed preparing the two national teams for their respective competitions coming up in the year.

Mr. Henry Ackom, the Operation Officer of the Ghana Cricket Association (GCA) in an interview with GNA Sports, said the training match is to prepare both teams for upcoming championships and to also rehearse on what the teams have been practicing at training over a couple of weeks.

The game comes on this Saturday at 9:00 am at the Achimota Oval park which doubles as the training grounds for the teams.
