Former Hearts of Oak Chairman Harry Zakour has hinted that he will, together with some former management members, frustrate the current Board Chairman of the club, Togbe Afede to 'run away' from the club.
Harry Zakour who is highly recognized for instituting proper management plans to see the club win the CAF Champions League and other trophies has been a known critic of the current administration of the club.
According to the 'Millennium Chairman' as he is popularly referred to, the current administration led by Togbe Afede XIV is drawing the club backwards but 'they' will not allow that to happen.
Currently there is a power play at the club as to who owns the club after the club went into floatation 5 years ago and the current board chairman became the majority shareholder of the club.
According to most fans of the club, it was only 20% shares that were floated and it doesn't make Togbe Afede XIV the owner of the club.
However, the current leader of the club has been chastised on many occasions for not bringing on board the past and experience directors to help the club from sinking.
'We will make sure that the time will come and he himself will give up because I learnt he has not been paying the players and the workers at the secretariat,' Harry Zakkuor said.
'He will run away himself because his style of leadership is not what is needed to run a club like Hearts of Oak. We will make sure he will leave himself,' Zakour said in an interview with Boss FM.
It took the efforts of the former executives of the club to rescue the sinking champions from the tray of relegation as they finished 13th last season.
