Kwadwo Asamoah, who plays his club football for Juventus was born on 9 December, 1988 in Kumasi, Ghana.
Asamoah began his youth career with Asokwa Deportivo, before he moved to Kaaseman. He joined Liberty Professionals and after just a season he moved abroad where he signed for Bellinzona in Switzerland, but loaned to Torino in Italy, before the midfielder joined Udinese.
The champions of Italy Juventus secured his signature in 2012 and subsequently won 3 straight league titles with the Bianconeri.
Kwadwo Asamoah plays in a host of positions including left midfielder, left wing-back or central midfielder for Italian Serie A club Juventus and the Ghana national football team.
He is a hardworking, tactically versatile player, he is primarily known for his pace, strength, stamina, and his outstanding technical, physical, and athletic characteristics, which allow him to be effective both offensively and defensively, as a ball-winner. A predominantly left-footed player, he is also very agile, and a skillful dribbler.
The 27 year-old midfielder was part of the Black Stars team that reached the quarter finals of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and was also instrumental in the Ghana team that finished as runners-up in the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations staged in Angola.
Asamoah was awarded CAF Most Promising African Player in 2010 and named Ghana Player of the Year twice consecutively for 2012 and 2013.
In 2013, Asamoah was ranked as the 27th best footballer in the world by Bloomberg.
