Kwadwo Asamoah will be out for three weeks, after suffering a muscular injury in Juventus 2-0 win over Atlanta on Sunday
Asamoah, who replaced injured Roberto Pereyra during the game, also in a similar vein got hurt in the process of helping the Italian champions earn their victory.
The official website of Juventus has confirmed that Pareyra will be out for about a month, while Kwadwo Asomoah will be out for barely three weeks.
'During the match, the Ghanaian midfielder [Asamoah] suffered a muscular problem, a first-degree injury to the biceps femoris of the left thigh, so the prognosis for recovery is 20 days,'
'El Tucumano [Pereyra] also suffered a muscular problem in his right thigh. Diagnostic tests carried out this morning showed a second-degree injury to semimembranosus muscle, with the recovery time needed estimated to be 40 days, ,' a statement on the Bianconeri's official website confirmed.
Asamoah suffered a career threaning injury in December last year and has only played three competitive game since then.
Kwadwo Asamoah joined the Old Lady from fellow Italian side Udinese in 2013 and has since won three Serie A titles.
