The hard work of Kadiri Mohammed paid off on Sunday when he was voted as the best player of Ashanti Gold during an awards and dinner night held by the supporters of the club at Omac Londge at Obuasi to honour players who distinguished themselves in the 2014-15 season.
The defender was one of the three players who were promoted by Coach Bashiru Hayford from the U-20 side of Ashanti Gold into their senior team.
He was consistent in the Ashgold team that won the Ghana Premier League last season to end their league drought in 19 years and added the Otumfuo Cup to it last two seasons.

Most Promising Player: Emmanuel Osei Baffour
The supporters also gave individual awards to 120 people including Ashgold's CEO, Kudjoe Fianoo, Yaw Fosu, Coach Bashiru Hayford, King Zuba, MCE of Obuasi Metropolitan Assembly, 90 Minutes News Paper, Supporters Chairman Oti Akenten, Nimo Poku, etc.
