Ghana and Swansea City midfielder Andre Ayew has returned to France to properly bid his colleague's farewell before linking up with his Swansea City mates for pre-season.
Ayew, 25, was scheduled to play in a memorial game at the Mantse Agbonaa park but had to scrapper the game after receiving a informing that pre-season had been moved forward by a couple of days.
Ayew who spend 11 seasons in French football still has stuff in France and quickly jetted out to pick them and officially bid farewell some colleague at Marseille `belong linking up with Swansea for Pre-season.
'Yes he is gone to France because he still has stuff to do over there and say good bye to some colleague,' A source close to the player told GHANAsoccernet.com
'He will then move to the UK to link up with the rest of the squad for preseason.'
Ayew signed a four year lucrative deal with Swansea in a move that sees him become the highest earner of the club.
