Ghanaian striker John Antwi scripted another fine words about his scoring form in Egypt by scoring the equaliser for Ismaily in their 1-1 draw with El Daklyeh in the Egyptian Premier League Thursday evening.
Antwi, 21, is now the leading top-scorer in the Egyptian Premier League with 13 goals from 15 games.
Ismaily had fallen to a Mohamed Al Fayoumi 7th minute strike and needed redemption before their home fans at the Ismaïlia Stadium and it was Antwi who rose to the occasion.
He won and expertly converted a penalty kick in the 39th minute to save his side's blushes.
Ismaily are continue their rise from the bottom half of the league table while Antwi is further establishing himself at the summit of the goal-king chart.
Antwi was shockingly left out of a 31-man squad named by Ghana coach Avram Grant for the 2015 AFCON tournament which starts in Equatorial Guinea next weekend.
