Midfielder Kwadwo Poku has returned to Kotoko following the expiration of a one-year loan spell at Heart of Lions.
The holding midfielder has already started pre-season with the club in Kumasi ahead of the start of the new season.
Poku played an instrumental role for the Kpando-based side as they finished second in the First Capital Plus Premier League last season.
Lions were hoping to make his stay permanent but the midfielder has returned to his parent club.
Kotoko want to assemble a crack squad ahead of next year's CAF Champions League and their domestic League defense this term.
