Ghana has maintained its 38th position in the latest Fifa/Coca Cola rankings released on Thursday for the month of May.
The Black Stars moved up two places in last two month's [March] edition and saw a downward movement last month, but have maintained their 38th position ahead of the World Cup in Brazil after polling a total of 713 points on the log.
With a series of friendly games scheduled before the World Cup next month, the four-time African champions could climb the table with some good results in the next rankings.
The top four positions in Africa remain unchanged with Côte d'Ivoire (21) still leading followed by Egypt (24), Algeria (25) and Ghana.
Germany and Portugal who are Ghana's opponents in the World Cup still follow Spain as the top three ranked teams in the world but Brazil moved two places up to become the fourth best team.
