After a 5-game wait, Hasaacas Ladies finally overcame Fabulous Ladies as they earned a 2-1 win against their rivals to lift the first national Women's League.
All three goals in the Championship play-off at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday came from the spot.

The meeting was their sixth after Fabulous had enjoyed victories in all their previous meetings before the Saturday's final.
For their victory, Hasaacas lifted the trophy plus a cash prize of GH¢2,000 with the runners-up picking GH¢1,000.
Both sides finished tops from the Northern and Southern Zones in the league.
Samira Suleiman of Hasaacas Ladies was voted the Most Valuable Player while Beatrice Ntiwah picked the golden glove award.
Agnes Aduako and Samira Suleiman finished the competition as joint top-scorers. They both scored 14 goals apiece.
