Maputo, Mozambique, Sept. 12, GNA - Daniel Sam and Solomon Nyarko handed Ghana her third medal at the 10th All Africa Games, after placing fourth in the Men's Badminton Doubles event at the Escola Josina Machel Hall, in Maputo, Mozambique.
The two blood brothers lost the semi finals game to their South Africa counterparts on Sunday evening despite putting up an impressive performance against their more advanced opponents.
The South African pair won all sets but per the rules of the competition, fourth placed teams are also presented with medals.
Ghana now has a total of three medals in the competition, after David Bawa and Maxwell Amponsah managed bronze medals in Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight divisions of the boxing event.
Ghana has so far not had a so impressive outing in the competition, after the Netball, Table Tennis, Swimming and Cycling squads were eliminated at the early stages of the competition.
