FORMER KUMASI Asante Kotoko playmaker Jordan Opoku is back at the club after a stint abroad.
The ex-Kotoko midfielder stayed in Albania where reports say he struggled to impress.
Opoku, who still believes he has a lot of football in him, has returned to the country to re-launch his career.
'River Jordan' as he is known in football circles, has even started training with Kotoko at Adarkwa Jarchie in Kumasi.
Kotoko sources said the player is eager to sign a fresh deal with the Kumasi-based club for next season.
Jordan Opoku was shot to instant fame during his days with Gomoa Fetteh Feynoord.
At a point, he was among the best players on the local scene when he was playing for Kotoko.
Jordan was once appointed the general captain of the Porcupine Warriors; but a sharp dip in form confined him to the sidelines.
In an attempt to save his dying career, Opoku traveled to Albania but he failed to shine there.
