Bazooka gets off to a win, Bechem stutter

Bechem FC and Unity FC shared a 1-1 stalemate at the Ohene Djan Stadium on Friday to leave their promotion play-off all square ahead of the remaining matches in Zone I.

For Bechem, who are making their third successive attempt at gaining promotion, it was point well earned after Unity took the lead after 24 minutes through William Abotey.

An improved second half display saw Bechem equalise just three minutes into the game after the break.

Emmanuel Allan scored from close range after Bechem broke on the counter.

In the other game in the zone, Bazooka FC moved top of the standings courtesy a 1-0 victory at the Tema Stadium over Guan United.
