Accra, Jan 19, GNA - Former Premier League side Accra Great Olympics will seek to maintain a clean record in the MTN FA Cup competition as they take on Mighty Heroes at the Ohene Djan Stadium, Accra on Sunday in the round of 64 matches.
Olympics, who advanced to this stage after brushing aside Horebian FC, are bent on going further in the competition with their eyes firmly fixed on the ultimate trophy.
On the schedule on Sunday is another former Premier League side, Brong Ahafo (B.A) United who will take on DC United at the Sunyani Coronation Park, with Golden Stars taking on Rehoboth FC at the Tema Sports Stadium.
Okwawu United whose attempt to rejoin the premiership over the years had failed will prior to the two matches on Sunday, play as guests of Wyndy Professionals at Winneba on Friday, whilst Kintampo Zamalek battle Shark FC at the Kintampo Town Park on Friday, January 21.
Red Bull Soccer Academy will play Cheetah FC at Sogakope to complete the first phase of the round of 64.
According to the fixtures released by the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the next round of matches at this phase will be played on January 30 and run through to February, after which new pairings will be made for the round of 32.
