The best form of juvenile soccer is expected this Thursday at  the Tema Stadium when the Coca-Cola U-17 train hits the Harbour City.

And like the Ashanti Region edition which saw Anokye Stars and Corners Babies emerging winners, the forthcoming edition will tow the same line, producing two winners to join the Eastern and Volta winners for the national championship, which takes place later this year.

Competing for honours in the two-day soccer event starting February 11 to 12 are BT International, Shaka FC, Manchester United, Top 10, Tema All Stars, Photizo, Soccer Mercenaries and Desideroes.

Prior to the competition, seasoned coaches Emmanuel Kwasi Afranie, Francis Oti Akenteng and Frimpong Manso will take the participants through some coaching clinics.

As usual, winners will take home special cash prizes, plaques, trophies, certificates as well as Coca-Cola products. Anthony Cheneboah of the Marketing Department of Coca-Cola has said that the purpose of the exercise is to unearth soccer talents at the grass root to feed the country's various national teams.
