Kumasi, Dec. 27, GNA - Kaaseman F/C, a Division Two side beat Anloga Carpenters Union 2-1 in a special soccer friendly match played at Kaase in the Kumasi Metropolis at the weekend.
The match formed part of activities planned by the Union to honour the late Nana Yaw Owusu Ababio, Kaasehene and to also foster good relationship between the members and the Kaase community following the carpenters' relocation from Anloga to the Sokoban Wood Village.
Kaaseman took the lead in the fifth minute through Samuel Appiah but the Union lads came back strongly to equalize in the 15th minute after Yaw Danso connected home a Ralph Addo cross.
Kaaseman in the second half secured the winner in the 50th minute through Sylvester Mensah when he intercepted a pass and went on a solo move to beat advancing goalkeeper Yaw Agyei.
The winners were presented with a trophy donated by Torgbui Mawufeame Fugah, President of the Union.
