The Sports Writers Association of ghana (SWAG), has commenced the renewal of membership identity cards and those for the Association of International Press for Sports (AIPS) for 2010 and 2011.
A statement signed by Mr William D. Ezah, acting General Secretary of SWAG said the cost of renewal of the AIPS card is five dollars or its cedi equivalent, while the local card is GHC5G.
The statement said only members who are in good standing and attend regular meetings and participate in activities of the Association, will have their application for renewal of the cards granted.
It added that members are to contact the secretariat of the Association for registration or call the office on 021-930121 for clarification.
The statement added that members have to the close of work on November 18, 2009 to submit their names and the appropriate fees to the secretariat to ensure early delivery of the cards.
