20 to flex…In morrow's Man Ghana '09 fiesta

The 2009 Man Ghana Competition comes off at the National Theatre of Ghana tomorrow, a release signed by Irene Yeboah – Asiamah, Client Service Executive, Creative Trends has said. The competition will bring together 20 body builders from all over the country.

This year's event is expected to be the biggest and most exciting event ever held in Ghana.

The event is being organized by the Ghana Bodybuilders and Fitness Association (GBFA), under the National Sports Council (NSC), courtesy the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Yaw Asamoah of Creative Trends, has promised a night of glitz, style, physique, strength and attitude. The competition will be in four categories, the super heavy weight, heavy weight, middle weight and light weight.

For the first time in eleven (11) years, the 'Man Ghana' event returns to the National Theatre with 20 well sculptured men, competing for a top of the range motor bicycle, cash prizes and also an opportunity to represent Ghana in the African and world championship.

The Ghana Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (GBFA) is affiliated to the International Fitness and Physique Association (IFPA), International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) and the African Federation of Bodybuilding (AFBB).

The reigning champion Kofi Salia, aka Asasee, represented Ghana last year at the West African event and won.

As part of the competition, the world conquerors; the black Satellites, Ghana's U-20 football team who won the just ended FIFA World tournament will grace the occasion.

Mr. Yartey, President of the Ghana Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (GBFA) commended the program's sponsors Astymin and Apetamin, Saigon at La Palm Casino, Royal Motors, Pleasure Condom, Ikann Fitness Centre, Joy FM, Hitz Fm, TV3, GTV, Metro TV, Graphic Sports, Mirror and Graphic Showbiz for their support.

The show will start at 8:00pm and the rate is GH ¢25 only.
