Six Black Satellites players who were randomly selected for dope testing have emerged clean after their respective matches.
The players are goalkeepers Joseph Addo and Robert Dabuo, defenders Philip Boampong and Samuel Inkoom, Abeiku Quansah and Ghandi Kassenu.
The excercise is part of FIFA's effort to protect the game and the youth from drugs. The result of the urine tests which are conducted after matches are made available immediately.
According to Mr Jordan Anagbla, Black Satellites Management Committee Chairman, the first test was conducted on the two substitute goalkeepers after the opening game against Uzbekistan which the Satellites won 2-1.
He said the second batch of testing involved Abeiku Quansah and Ghandi Kassenu after the Ghana-England match, whilst Inkoom and Boampong had their turn last Friday after the last group match against Uruguay.
“All our players passed the tests,” Anagbla confirmed to the Daily Graphic.
