French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais have offered Ghana international John Boye a two week trials with a possibility sealing a permanent deal.
The Heart of Lions' centre-back is understood to have been recoreded by Black Stars colleague John Mensah who left for Lyon last week.
Mensah partnered Boye during Ghana's World Cup qualifier against Gabon in June when the latter came on as substitute on the half hour mark.
The 21-year-old's performenaces last season earned him a call-up into the local Black Stars squad and scored two goals during the CHAN qualifiers.
Boye could complete his stay at the Route de Lorient if he impresses on trials and fiil the vacuum created in Rennais' rearguard.
He has also been linked with a move to Israeli Premier League side Hapoel Petah Tikva.
