Anthony Annan's agent has revealed his client's interest in playing in England despite a successful club career in Norway.
According to the Ghana Football Federation's official website, the midfielder, who is currently on loan with Stabaek, wants to move to England this summer.
The 21-year-old's performance this season helped Stabaek clinch the 2007/08 Tippeligaen title and the champions are keen to hold onto him.
On the international front, Annan played a pivotal role in Ghana's 2008 AFCON campaign on home soil, playing alongside Premier League stars and close friends Michael Essien and Sulley Muntari.
Annan has drawn interest from several English clubs including Blackburn Rovers, Bolton, Everton and Middlesbrough. Recently relegated outfits Derby and Birmingham are also reportedly interest in acquiring the African's services.
Craig Honeyman of SEM told Sky Sports: "He is definitely looking to move this summer,"
"He was outstanding in the Africa Cup along with Essien and Muntari and that only shows what standard he is up to at this stage.
"His priority is most definitely a move to England, he has seen how the likes of Essien and Muntari have done."
Honeyman, however, would not confirm which clubs made offers for Annan.
"There is interest and a lot from the Premier League, playing in Norway has been great for him as all big clubs in England have scouts and people over there," he continued.
"But we are not going to start naming names at this stage, but there are a number who have expressed their interest.
"We widely expect something to happen in the near future and we are confident he will be playing in England next season."
