Ghana midfielder Kwasi Sibo and his Al Swehly teammates have arrived in Tunisia ahead of their decisive second leg against Esperance in the CAF Champions League second preliminary round.
The Libyan side head into the return fixture with a narrow 1-0 advantage after securing victory in the first leg last week.
Sibo, who missed the opening round of the preliminary competition, featured in midfield in the first leg and played an important role in helping Al Swehly secure the win.
Ayoub Ayed scored the only goal of the contest in the 64th minute to hand the Libyan club a slender advantage ahead of the return encounter.
Al Swehly will now look to protect their lead in Tunisia and secure qualification for the next round as they pursue a place in the Champions League group stage, where significant financial rewards are on offer.
Sibo's experience, including his spell with Spanish club Real Oviedo, could prove valuable as Al Swehly seek to navigate a difficult away fixture against the Tunisian giants.
The Ghana midfielder is also expected to be in contention for a place in the Black Stars squad for the upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, with Ghana looking to improve their position in the qualifying campaign.
