Debibi United attacking midfielder Richard Owusu has been named the NASCO Player of the Month for September in the Ghana Premier League following an impressive run of performances.
Owusu scored two goals and provided two assists in four matches during the month to claim the award, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced.
The midfielder’s contributions in the final third proved crucial for Debibi United, earning him recognition for his outstanding performances throughout September.
As part of the award, Owusu will receive a 43-inch NASCO television and a double-door bottom-freezer refrigerator, courtesy of Electroland Ghana Limited.
Owusu will now be hoping to maintain his impressive form when Debibi United host Bibiani Gold Stars in their Matchday Seven fixture this weekend.
His performances have provided a boost for the club as they prepare for another important test in the Ghana Premier League.
