
Ghana youth international Kweku Essien has beeen released by his second Bundesliga side VFL Osnabrück.
According to the club's official website, Essien,22, has played managed just a single game in their campaign.
Coach Claus-Dieter Wollitz has asked Essien's management to find him a new club in this month's transfer market since he is got no future at the club.
The midfileder moved to Germany in the 2007 summer transfer from division one side Maamobi Midjitland.
Essien, was voted the best player in the Ghanaian Onetouch Premier League last season on loan at King Faisal.
It is however unclear whether he will return home to relaunch his career or stay in Europe for a new club.
