Accra and Ashaiman are set to witness a vibrant edition of the Hope Tennis Clinic, spearheaded by Enock Godi, Founder and President of Hope Performance Inc. USA, following the arrival of four volunteers from Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday, July 9, 2026.
Enock Godi, a former Ghana Golden Racquet tennis star now based in Atlanta, has activated the 2026 Hope Tennis Clinic, which begins on Friday, July 10, at the Accra Sports Stadium Tennis Center. The programme will climax in Ashaiman on Tuesday, July 14, at the St. Augustine Catholic Tennis Court.
The Hope Tennis Foundation, established in 2018, has over the past seven years impacted communities across Cape Coast, Winneba, Sogakope, Tamale, Tarkwa, Ashaiman, Burma Camp, Accra and more — including hosting Wheelchair Tennis Clinics and tournaments in previous editions.
More than 500 Ghanaian children and young tennis talents from basic schools in and around Accra and Ashaiman are expected to benefit from this year’s clinic. Participants will receive hands‑on exposure to racquet handling, ball control, and practice sessions with seasoned tennis coaches from Ghana and abroad.

The Foundation’s mission is to develop the abilities and potential of young people through high‑performance tennis programmes, introduce the sport to “virgin areas” across Ghana, and refine already talented young players. Beneficiaries range from ages 4 to 18 and above.
This year’s edition receives a major boost with the arrival of top racquet professionals. Davidson Jean‑Rejouis returns to Ghana for his second stint, while Grant Brinkman, Chip Sweeney, and David Dvorak make their debut at the Accra Sports Stadium clinic.
The presence of Coach David Dvorak has particularly energized the 2026 edition. Dvorak is a Master Professional with the Racquet Sports Professionals Association, a Master Racquet Technician with the USA Racquet Stringers Association, a Certified Racquet Sports Executive, a Professional at Pickleball Registry, and a Professional Level 2 under the Racquet Pro Organization. He currently serves as Director of Tennis at Dunwoody Country Club, where he is known for high‑performance coaching, mentorship, and programme development.
With preparations in full swing, Enock Godi and his team will focus on the Accra Sports Stadium Tennis Center from Friday, July 10 to Saturday, July 11, before moving to Ashaiman from Monday, July 13 to Tuesday, July 14 for the continuation of the clinic at St. Augustine Catholic Tennis Court.
